Why did you choose to come to ITS?

I opted to come to ITS as they offered me opportunities that other colleges could not. When I started at ITS I didn’t know what I really wanted to do and they gave me a chance to initially go out on a placement which could possibly lead to a career.

What qualifications did it involve?

I have improved my Maths, English, and ICT through taking part in Functional Skills sessions. I have also completed the Employability and Personal Development Level 1 qualification. This has really helped me grow as an individual.

Tell us about your experiences with ITS

I really enjoyed it and it seemed much different to schools and other colleges. There is a relaxed atmosphere at ITS and I enjoyed learning. The tutor Clare Connolly was ace and my current assessor Kath Omaison is brilliant and very supportive. All students get free breakfast and lunch which is great.

How did you get employed at Safestyle UK?

When I first started at ITS I looked at my own options with my tutor and decided on Business Administration.   ITS found me a placement at Safestyle UK. I expected to be running around for everyone doing odd jobs but I was treated with respect and made to feel part of the team. After gaining an apprenticeship with them I decided that this would be a career for me luxury replica watches. I started working in the Remakes Department; my duties involved inputting data and other basic admin duties. I also helped to ensure quality procedures are produced for our customers. I have gained my NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration and I am currently doing my Level 3 and I am employed full time at Safestyle UK.

What is next for you?

I want to complete my Level 3 Business Administration and make a success of my promotion as Manager of the Remakes Department. I quality check all jobs being inputted to ensure our products are all of the highest quality before going out to customers.
