Design and modify websites including many of the features and functionality of Dreamweaver.

Those who wish to design, code and manage websites using Dreamweaver’s visual interface.

By the end of the course, you will understand the languages involved in designing a website and be able to plan how to get the most out of Dreamweaver’s many features. Although looking at some web design is inevitable, in this course you should be prepared for a solid look at why Dreamweaver is one of the best website design tools available.

Introduction to the Dreamweaver user interface:

• Creating a local site.
• Setting up synchronisation in Dreamweaver.
• Connecting to and working with a source code control system (Git).
• Creating an HTML page.
• Using a CSS starter.
• Using the property inspector.

Introduction to building web site navigation:

• Using graphics and other media in Dreamweaver.
• Introduction to building web page layouts in Dreamweaver.
• Using templates and libraries.
• Connecting to a remote site and testing your site.

This course can be delivered remotely or in a classroom environment, to suit your requirements.

Delegates must have the following equipment to attend this training remotely:

• PC or laptop with a microphone and speakers (webcam is preferred but not essential).
• Access to the internet and web browser application (e.g. Google Chrome).
• An email account for file sharing.

Course attendees must be proficient with a mouse and keyboard and be able to confidently work within a Windows environment - minimise, maximise, open and close.
